In 2023, they began their next chapter with À Table - a gourmet market, catering company, and neighborhood gathering place rooted in French culinary tradition and the Ridgefield community.

Sarah & Bernard’s Journey

Sarah and Bernard Bouïssou have spent more than four decades building a reputation for exceptional food and hospitality.

Bernard began his culinary career in France before training and working alongside some of th most respected chefs in New York. Sarah’s journey brought her from acclaimed kitchens to launching her own successful catering company serving the ti-state area.

Together, they opened Bernard’s in Ridgefield in 2000, creating one of Connecticut’s most beloved dining destinations. During its 23-year run, Bernard’s earned numerous accolades, including the prestigious AAA Four Diamond Award, and became known for its impeccable service, extraordinary cuisine, and lasting impact on the community.

In 2023, Sarah and Bernard began their next chapter with À Table, bringing their passion for hospitality, catering, and thoughtfully prepared food to a new generation of guests.
